Sébastien Lasvaux

Sébastien Lasvaux works as research and development engineer in the “Environment” team of CSTB, in Grenoble.
He completed a Ph.D in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) applied to buildings from the Paris Institute of Technology. He holds an M.Sc in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Toulouse. He is involved in several research projects in the LCA for buildings. The following topics under study are especially: statistical analyses of generic and environmental product declaration (EPD) data, relevance of LCA simplification in the building sector, uncertainty and representativeness of LCA data of building materials. He also takes part in the development of the French ELODIE software to conduct LCA studies for buildings.
